Multi-Purpose Selected for AIGA 50 Books 50 Covers
My classmates and I produced this book during our final year in the Yale Graphic Design MFA program. The project was overseen by Linda Van Deusen. She kind of decided that the book should be “about” color. I thought this was typical of the way designers impose design systems to editorial projects so I wrote an article about a prime example of this Colors magazine. I can't tell whether the fact that it was selected as one of the best design books of the year makes me look like a jerk or proves my point. In either case, you can buy the book here. 09/08/05
